Wolfpack Defenseman Set to Join Dutchman this Fall

CROMWELL, CT -- Bobby Wurster, a defenseman for the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack, has committed to Lebanon Valley College (LVC) for the Fall of 2017. In his 2nd season with the Wolfpack, the '96 defenseman tallied 26 points in 49 total games.

"Bobby is an outstanding young man and a very good athlete," said Wolfpack head coach Chris Cerrella. "He was weighing on a lot of different college hockey options, but Lebanon Valley was a great fit on and off the ice. I will miss Bobby and wish him and his family nothing but the best. I cannot wait to watch him play at the next level."

While the Wolfpack's season ended sooner than they had hoped, the Pennsylvania native is excited to get started with his collegiate hockey career this Fall.

"I am very excited to start my academic and college hockey career at Lebanon Valley College," said Wurster. "The incredible facilities and academic programs made this decision very easy. I want to thank my parents and sister for everything they have done for me throughout this journey. I especially want to thank Coach Cerrella for helping me become not only a better player, but also helping me mature as a person. I came to Hartford knowing he would help me improve into a college hockey player and he has more than exceeded my expectations. I cannot wait to join Coach Parsons and Lebanon Valley this fall."
