WALPOLE, MA -- Mike Wise, a forward for the Walpole Express, has committed to Assumption College for the Fall of 2017. In his first season with Walpole's Premier team, the '97 from Massachusetts tallied 11 points in 35 total games.
“Mike has been with us since I came to Walpole a few years ago and has grown so much as a person and player,” said Express head coach Jon Lounsbury. "He competes like crazy each day and has the drive to do whatever it takes to get to the top. I have no doubt he will have a successful NCAA career at Assumption.”
Wise is looking forward to kicking off his collegiate hockey career this Fall with the defending Northeast-10 Champions.
“I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to pursue my goal of playing college hockey, without them none of this would be possible," said Wise. "I would also like to thank Coach Lounsbury and the entire Express staff for developing me as a hockey player and a person. I am excited to spend my next 4 years at Assumption College.”
