NORWALK, CT -- Kade McCartin, a defenseman for the Connecticut Oilers, has committed to Suffolk University for the Fall of 2017. This past season was McCartin’s second with the Oilers, and the '96 proved himself as a tough hold-down defender, with an accurate first pass ability.
“Kade was very disciplined in his defensive role as a CT Oiler in protecting the house,” said Oilers head coach Eric Lind. “Kade will be bringing that defensive stability to the Rams next season.”
This Fall the team in Norwalk will take on a new name, as the Connecticut RoughRiders, while the Connecticut Oilers will become a new franchise in Hamden.
