Eduards Tralmaks Continues to Prep for Maine through the USHL

BOSTON, MA -- With 55 points during the 2015-16 season, Eduards Tralmaks was named the Most Valuable Player of the EHL's top division. The native of Latvia turned heads with his size, and lethal shot, attracting the attention of the Chicago Steel (USHL). After getting drafted by the Steel, Tralmaks has continued to develop throughout a special year in Chicago. Tonight, the Steel face-off against the Sioux City Musketeers, as they look to earn their first ever Clark Cup Championship.

Todd was Tralmaks' coach last season, and now is a part of the Walpole Express coaching staff. Stirling added his thoughts towards one of the best players he's ever coached.

"Eduards has truly taken his game to new levels," said Stirling. "He thrives on pressure and when people tell him 'he can't'. Playing a year in the EHL gave him the chance to be an all-situations guy.  Eduards has learned the value of both in season and out of season workouts, all things he mastered while flourishing in the EHL."

The EHL would like to wish our former MVP the best of luck in the USHL Finals.
