Rangers Defenseman Set to Join Leopards in the Fall of 2017

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Dante Flori, a defenseman for the Boston Jr. Rangers, has committed to the Wentworth Institute of Technology for the Fall of 2017. This season was Flori's 2nd with the Rangers' EHL Team, and even though it was cut short due to injury, the 6'5" defenseman led his team well while serving as the captain.

"Dante worked very hard and was a great leader on the blue line for our team the past 2 seasons," said Rangers head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He has a lot of skill for a big guy, and I think he will have a tremendous 4 years at Wentworth. We are very happy for him!"

While the injury was frustrating for Flori, the Massachusetts native knows that he still accomplished his main goal while playing for the Rangers. Flori developed well during his time in the EHL, and he's thankful for what the coaching staff gave him.

"I want to thank Coach DeCaprio and Coach Blair on helping me get to the next level and develop me as a player," said Flori.
