McPherson Continues to Advance

BOSTON, MA -- Mike McPherson, an alumni of the 2016-17 Boston Jr. Rangers, was selected by the Minnesota Wilderness in this year's NAHL Draft.

With every success story comes a different path, and for McPherson, the offensive ability has been consistent throughout his journey. The '97 forward began his junior hockey career at the EHLP level back in the 2015-16 season. The numbers for McPherson were quite impressive that season, as he tallied 100 points in 38 total games.

Following the historic season, it was clear that the next step would be up to the EHL level. Upon his arrival, McPherson simply kept scoring, as he tallied 69 points in 53 total games and led the league with 35 goals in the regular season.

As 1 season ends, the next one begins, and McPherson will now look to continue progressing in Minnesota.
