Wizards Forward Set to Join Teammate this Fall

BEDFORD, MA -- Eric Hildebrand, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to the Chatham University for the Fall of 2017. This was Hildebrand's 2nd year and 1st full season with the Wizards. In 80 career games with the team, the New Jersey native tallied 44 total points.

"Eric was pleasure to coach the past couple years," said Wizards head coach Freddy Meyer. "He's got a heavy shot, and he plays the game with all of his size. Eric's a smart kid and he will be able to excel when he arrives at Chatham this Fall. I can't wait to continue to watch him grow throughout his collegiate hockey career."

Hildebrand is the 2nd Wizards player to decide on Chatham for this Fall, as he'll be joined by Matt Winter when they arrive. The 6'3" forward is excited to get started and knows how important the Wizards coaching staff was to achieving his dream of playing NCAA hockey.

"The Wizards coaching staff helped me develop confidence in my game and taught me discipline as a person," said Hildebrand. "Learning from them will definitely have me ready for college."
