Rangers Forward Joining Teammates this Fall

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Kyle Galloway, a forward for the Boston Jr. Rangers, has committed to Southern New Hampshire University for the Fall of 2017. This past season was Galloway's first with the Rangers' EHL team, and the native of Georgia tallied 23 points in 50 total games.

"Kyle is the kind of player that plays the game with a lot of passion and intensity," said Rangers head coach Rich DeCaprio. "He really heated up in the second half and into the playoffs. He's a skilled player that sees the ice well. We are happy for him as a '97 to be moving onto NCAA hockey and to play for Coach Walsh at SNHU."

When Galloway joins the Penman, there will be a sense of comfort in already knowing two of his teammates. Johnny Andrews and Zach Ciampa each made their commitments to SNHU a few months ago.

"My experience with the Rangers is one that I'll never forget, said Galloway. "Hard work was expected and the coaching staff pushed us everyday to get better. Coach DeCaprio and Coach Blair taught me many things on and off the ice that not only improved me as a player, but are going to help me make the transition from juniors to college. I want to thank all my coaches and teammates who have developed me into the player I am today and allowed me to achieve my goal of playing college hockey."

Outside of the three Rangers players heading to SNHU this Fall, there are three other EHL alums also getting set to join the Penmen.
