Connecticut College Commit Tallies an Assist

HOOKSETT, NH -- Chris Adamsons, a forward for the New Hampshire Avalanche, began his first season in the EHL this past weekend. Prior to heading to New Hampshire, the '98 spent two seasons at the Taft School in Watertown, CT. While at Taft, the native of Portland, CT caught the attention of Chris Cerrella (NHA Head Coach) and Connecticut College. As the Avalanche begin their first season in franchise history, they do so with already one NCAA Commitment on their resume. Adamsons is all lined up to join the Camels in the Fall of 2018.

"We went after Chris right away and he was one of our first players to sign for 2017," said Avalanche head coach and general manager Chris Cerrella. "He plays the game hard, and plays the game the right way; he is going to be a very good player in the NESCAC. We had been speaking often and Conn. College was his number one choice and he had a great opportunity to commit there now and develop for a season with the Avs. Conn. College has both great academics and great athletics it was a perfect fit for Chris. We wish him and his family the best of luck in the future and I am looking forward to developing him this season."

This past weekend, Adamsons tallied an assist as the Avalanche knocked off the New England Wolves by the score of 6-3 on Saturday, and then dropped a close 2-1 game to the Boston Jr. Rangers on Sunday. New Hampshire will look to get back into the win column when they return to action on Wednesday to take on the East Coast Wizards.
