BOSTON, MA -- After spending the 2016-17 season with the Boston Jr. Rangers in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Blake Bride has made a smooth transition into the North American Hockey League (NAHL) this season. The '98 forward racked up 46 points in 52 total games last year, and now this season, already has 16 points in 20 games with the Odessa Jackalopes. This past weekend, Bride tallied four points (3 goals, 1 assist) and was +3 in the two games against the Lone Star Brahmas. Bride's performance earned himself South Division Star of the Week honors.

Bride joins Matt Wiesner (2015-16 Valley Jr. Warriors), in the class of EHL alums taking home awards this year in the NAHL. Wiesner was the NAHL Forward of the Month in September.
