BOSTON, MA -- After spending two seasons with the Connecticut RoughRiders in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Michael Tilford set out for Nazareth College in the Fall of 2016. Now a Sophomore with the Golden Flyers, Tilford was just named the Goalie of the Week in his conference. Nazareth is part of the newly formed United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC), and is 5-2-1 in conference play so far this season (6-5-1 overall).

This past week, Tilford allowed just three goals on 70 total shots against, as Nazareth beat Neumann on Friday and then tied Stevenson on Saturday. Combined between the two games, Tilford owned a stellar .957 save percentage and lowered his GAA down to 2.21 for the season.
