Express Forward Set to Join Skyhawks this Fall

WALPOLE, MA -- Charlie Page, a forward for the Walpole Express, has committed to Stonehill College for the Fall of 2018. Page notched 28 points during the regular season, including a pair of game-winning goals.

"Charlie came to us from Winthrop High School and has transformed into one of the best players on our team," said Express head coach and general manager Jon Lounsbury. "Charlie truly has the ability to dominate a game at any time. He is a hard-nosed player and he's very tough to defend. I have known Charlie since he was young and couldn't be happier for the year he's having. He is truly going to be hard to replace next season."

Page and the Express are fresh off a two-game sweep of the New England Wolves in the First Round of the EHL Playoffs. In that series, the '99 racked up three goals and two assists, and thus earned TSR Hockey Top Performer honors. It's been a truly special season for one of the youngest players in the EHL, and Page took some time to reflect.

“I'd like to give a special thank you to Coach Lounsbury and the Walpole Express for helping me achieve my dream of playing NCAA hockey at Stonehill College. Also, a huge thank you to my family and friends for all of their support," said Page.

Walpole is now set to take on the Boston Jr. Rangers in the Second Round of the EHL Playoffs, starting Friday afternoon at 4:30pm.
