Connecticut Nor’Easter 2 – Boston Dukes 0: The Nor’Easter kicked off the showcase with a 2-0 win over the Boston Dukes, as Jackson Gruber scored both goals in the victory. Connecticut goaltender Jason LoRicco pitched a 21-save shutout for his first in the EHL. Micaiah Bascombe recorded an assist on both of Gruber’s goals, as he now has nine points (4g, 5a) in his first four games.

East Coast Wizards 3 – Boston Jr. Terriers 1: The Wizards stay undefeated with a win over the Jr. Terriers, improving their record to 4-0-0. Michael Fischer opened the scoring midway through the first half to give Boston the lead, but the Wizards responded with three unanswered goals. Evan Roy knotted things up at one later in the half, and then the St. Hillaire twins took over in the second half. Cooper scored the go-ahead goal, while Daxton iced it with an empty netter. Owen Currier made 22 saves on 23 shots.


New England Wolves 8 – Seahawks Hockey Club 1: Eight different players scored a goal for the Wolves in a commanding win over the Seahawks. Alex Roy and Joseph Bastien-Picard put New England up 2-0 in the first half, and the team went on to score six more in the second. Jacob Gelman scored the lone goal for the Seahawks, and Wolves defenseman Dmitrijs Leins had four assists. Cam Reardon picked up the win by making 23 saves on 24 shots.

Boston Jr. Eagles 6 – Connecticut RoughRiders 0: Max O’Connell and Riley Van Son scored two goals each in Boston’s shutout against the RoughRiders. Brady O’Connor got the ball rolling with a goal early in the first half, and O’Connell doubled the lead just 41 seconds later. Gerald Cahill also had a goal and Nick Haust notched two assists, while Jr. Eagles goaltender Sean Dunn made 19 saves for the shutout.

Providence Capitals 4 – New York Apple Core 1: A strong second half propelled the Capitals in a 4-1 win over Apple Core. Deaglan Kelly put the Caps up 1-0 in the first half, and New York evened the score early in the second half with a goal from Paulis Leonards Paegle. Providence took over, however, as Maddox Watson scored two unanswered goals, and Kelly picked up his second goal of the game with an empty netter. Caps forward Daniel Kroon had three assists and now has 10 points (4g, 6a) through five games.

New Hampshire Avalanche 4 – Philadelphia Hockey Club 0: Louis Tremblay picked up a goal and an assist in the Avs 4-0 win over Philadelphia. New Hampshire scored three goals in the first half, coming from Ben Carfora, Tremblay and Danny Storella. Jake Hines tacked on one more in the second half as New Hampshire peppered PHC with 41 shots on goal. Philadelphia goaltender Cross Sherman was up to the task, making 37 saves, but the Avs’ offense prevailed as they improve to 3-1-0.

Seahawks Hockey Club 3 – New Hampshire Avalanche 2 (F/SO): The Seahawks shocked the Avalanche with a come-from-behind victory. The Avs jumped out to a 2-0 lead as Michael Cote and Ryan Johnson scored in the first half, but the Seahawks erased their two-goal deficit in the second half with goals from Orynn Freeman and Aidan Weldon. The Avs took a gamble by pulling goaltender Deagan Rathburn in overtime, opting for a 4-on-3 advantage, but could not score. The game went to a shootout, and Seahawks forward Peyton Evans scored the lone goal in the fifth round.

New England Wolves 10 – CT Nor’Easter AAA Academy 2: The Wolves’ relentless attack overpowered the Nor’Easter as New England scored five goals in each half. Alan Urbis, David Klaus, Samuel Kopecky, and Zach Spicuzza scored two goals each and Cam Plumb had three assists in the win. Colin Daigler and Caleb McNulty were the goal scorers for Connecticut. With the win, the Wolves improve to 3-0-0 this season with a +16 goal differential.

Valley Jr. Warriors 5 – Providence Capitals 2: Luc Cloutier had a goal and an assist as the Jr. Warriors jumped to a 5-0 lead in the first half in a commanding victory over the Capitals. Andrew Beausang, Michael Bevilacqua, Paul Magalhaes, and Cam Capanigro also found the back of the net for Valley, and goaltenders Aden Dube and Christopher Hanifan played one half each. The Caps found some life in the second half with Alex Dyer and Nolan Quirk scoring, but it was not enough to overcome the Warriors’ attack.

Adirondack Jr. Thunder 3 – Express Hockey Club 2 (F/OT): Foster Marsh scored the overtime-winning goal as the Adirondack Jr. Thunder knocked down the Express, 3-2. Alex Ridley scored two goals in the first half, putting the Thunder up 2-0 in the first half. The Express answered with goals from Cooper Grossguth and Colby Strunk in the second half, forcing the game to overtime. In the extra session, Marsh carried the puck to the middle of the ice and fired a quick wrister low-glove side to earn the win.
