Rangers and Avalanche Control Top Spots Heading into the Break

BOSTON, MA -- As we head into a short break for Thanksgiving, it's only fitting that the teams with the most points in both the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP), each sit at the top of the Power Rankings.

This past week, the Boston Jr. Rangers maintained their grip on the top spot, while running their winning streak out to six games. Included in the trio of victories, was a 5-3 comeback win over the New Hampshire Avalanche, who fell back to #4 on the charts.

As for the remaining teams in the top-five, the New Jersey 87s and Vermont Lumberjacks each slid up a slot, while Team Maryland earns their first ranking in franchise history.

As for the EHLP, a win for the New Hampshire Avalanche over the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, helped a new team take over the top slot.

The Philadelphia Little Flyers had been in control of the #1 position, but fell back to #3 with a loss at the hands of the New Jersey 87s (now #2).
