Rangers and Lumberjacks Extend Winning Streaks

BOSTON, MA -- We've reached the final week before the holiday break in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) season. The battle for points is as intense as ever, with every team looking to hit the break with momentum on their side.

The top-ranked Boston Jr. Rangers are officially on break, and feeling good, while riding the longest active winning streak in the league at 12 games. Right behind the Rangers are the Vermont Lumberjacks, on a five-game streak of their own.

From there, the Seahawks Hockey ClubPhiladelphia Revolution, and New Jersey 87s wrap-up the top-five in the EHL.

As for the EHLP, the second longest active streak belongs to the top-ranked New Hampshire Avalanche, winners of 11 straight. The Avalanche maintain the top spot with the New Jersey 87s (six straight wins) right behind them at #2.

As for the final spot, the New England Wolves have won 12 of their last 15 games, to climb back inside the top-three.
