Seahawks Forward Set to Join Lumberjacks this Fall

DENNIS, MA -- Jackson Breton, a forward for the Seahawks Hockey Club, has committed to Northland College for the fall of 2020.

"Jackson was a nice addition to our team back in November," said Seahawks head coach and general manager Bill Zaniboni. "Being from Wisconsin, Northland College was always the ultimate goal for Jackson, and I'm very happy we were able to help him achieve this goal. After a few years of prep, followed by a year in the EHL, Jackson is ready for the next level. The Seahawks are very happy to be the club to help him get this opportunity."

To date this year, Breton has an even four goals and four assists, and has seen a steady increase in his minutes played since arriving on the Cape. The '99 goes in the books as the 8th player in league history to commit to Northland, a program that has brought in a Seahawks player in the past. Korey Muzzy spent the 2017-18 season with the Seahawks, and is currently a sophomore with the Lumberjacks.

"I am excited to further my education and hockey careers at Northland College," said Breton. "I'd like to thank my parents for everything they have done to support me over the years. I'd also like to thank Coach Zaniboni and the Seahawks organization for giving me the opportunity to succeed and continue to the next level."

The Seahawks hit the road today for a matchup with the New England Wolves in Laconia, NH. Entering today, the Seahawks are currently the #3 seed in the New England Conference, with 10 regular season games remaining.
