Jr. Flyers All-Star Goaltender Set to Join the Camels this Fall

WEST CHESTER, PA -- Sean Dynan, a goaltender for the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers, has committed to Connecticut College for the fall of 2020.

The '99 native of Reading, MA, is in his first season with the Jr. Flyers, and he's notched four wins to date. While the overall record may not stand where Dynan had hoped, the 6'1" netminder was still labeled as 'all-star worthy' by numerous coaches around the league.

"Sean came to me in late August through his prep school coach Tim Whitehead, who was my son’s coach at UMass Lowell," said Jr. Flyers head coach and general manager Jerry Domish. "He has been an outstanding goalie for us and has been an important reason for our success. He is a very mature kid with a very positive attitude. I know he will have a great college career."

As we mentioned before, Dynan was a member of the 2019 EHL All-Star that posted a 1-1-1 record against a trio of NCAA Division III opponents. Dynan was arguably the best player on the team, turning aside over 50 shots in roughly 4.5 periods of play. That experience, along with everything Dynan's gained from the Jr. Flyers, has him feeling ready for the next level. Dynan took some time to share his appreciation for those that helped him along the way.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank my parents for everything they have done for me," said Dynan. “They have supported me through thick and thin along the way. I also would like to thank Jerry Domish, as well as all my teammates for their support."

Dynan and the Jr. Flyers are currently in control of the 6th and final playoff spot in the Mid-Atlantic Conference with 11 regular season games remaining. Dynan will look to continue to help anchor his team throughout the rest of the year, and into the postseason.
