Avalanche and Express Move Inside the Top-5

BOSTON, MA -- We're down to the final five weeks of the regular season schedules in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League (EHLP), and there is still plenty left to be determined across both divisions.

Looking back on this past week in the EHL, and despite going 1-1-1 in their three games, the Boston Jr. Rangers hang on to the top spot in the rankings. Following suit are the Vermont Lumberjacks and New Jersey 87s, who maintain their positions as well, while the New Hampshire Avalanche and Walpole Express each ride three-game winning streaks into the top-five.

As for the EHLP, the New England Wolves were off this past week, while the Boston Jr. Rangers offense scored an impressive 26 goals in three games. Since returning from the holiday break, the Rangers 7-0-1 in eight contests, and they are averaging 6.5 goals per game.

Rounding out the top-three is the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, who split their weekend home-and-home series with the New Hampshire Avalanche.
