TJHP Becomes Official Podcast Distributor

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are pleased to announce its new partnership with The Junior Hockey Podcast (TJHP), starting in the upcoming 2020-21 season.

"This is an exciting announcement to make on behalf of the #Eshow," said Neil Ravin, the EHL's Director of Communications. "We launched our podcast in early January, and saw it take off in only 12 episodes. With this new partnership, our podcast will soar to new heights in its first full season."

TJHP has been around since 2017, and currently releases a trio of new podcasts each and every week.

  • Monday - The Main Podcast
  • Wednesday - The Whistleblower
  • Friday - #StallTalk

With the #Eshow being released on Thursdays throughout the hockey season, the match is perfect to release the EHL podcast through the TJHP feed.

"Our goal is push content daily, and with the addition of the #Eshow, we move closer towards doing just that," said Josh Gresko, the Founder and Host of TJHP.

With this new partnership, the #Eshow will see its audience expand tremendously, as the podcasting world continues to boom.

Looking back on how this partnership was formed, and along with Ravin, there have already been four current or former EHL coaches that have appeared on the podcast. That number will increase in the future, along with monthly appearances by Ravin, to provide updates on the goings on in the EHL and the EHLP.

"When people ask me what my main responsibility is with my job, I tell everyone it's to generate publicity and brand awareness of the EHL in the hockey community," added Ravin. "The podcast world is exploding right now, and this opportunity will allow us to connect with current and future junior hockey players on a different level. There are only positives that will come from this partnership."

As we start to turn the page over from the 2019-20 season to the 2020-21 campaign, be sure to subscribe to the both the #Eshow and TJHP podcast feeds, for all the latest news and updates from the junior hockey world.
