#Eshow Thanks Doctors and Nurses During Global Pandemic

BOSTON, MA -- Following each of the past two seasons, the New England Wolves have been named the Humanitarians of the Year in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP). The annual honor recognizes the organization which provides outstanding contributions to their community.

Thank you to all the brave doctors and nurses, helping us battle the COVID-19 global pandemic.

This season, the EHL and EHLP would like to recognize all of the brave male and female doctors and nurses who have put their lives and their families lives at risk while serving others in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. These individuals are the true Humanitarians of the Year in 2020.

As we continue to move through these unprecedented times, the EHL and EHLP are encouraging hockey fans like ourselves, to give back to the individuals on the frontlines. Soon, the world will return to a state of normalcy, and it will be due in large part to all of the doctors and nurses across the country and around the globe.

Please consider donating to either Doctors Without Borders and/or Nurses House, Inc, as each foundation is set up to help those on the frontlines. Of course these aren't the only charities you can consider, but we hope that everyone can remember who we should all be thankful for, when the puck drops again.
