Grizzled Hockey Becomes Official League Partner

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are pleased to announce a new partnership with Grizzled Hockey.

Grizzled Hockey is an apparel store that was founded by a pair of league alumni in Anthony Del Tufo and Anthony Shrum. Both former EHL goaltenders are heading off to college this fall, as Del Tufo will begin his collegiate hockey career at SUNY Plattsburgh and Shrum will do the same at Worcester State University. As teammates this past year, they discussed the idea of creating their own brand, and just like their NCAA Commitments, they've turned that dream into a reality.

"I am beyond proud to make today's announcement and launch a new apparel store through Grizzled Hockey," said Neil Ravin, the league's Director of Communications. "I always enjoy tracking our alumni to see what they do after they advance to the next level. I get even more enjoyment in the seeing the endeavors they challenge themselves with off the ice. Building a brand takes time and commitment, and I am very happy to begin this partnership with Shrum and Del Tufo."

Del Tufo won 16 games throughout his career in the EHL, but the true number that sets him apart however, is the stellar .921 save percentage he amassed.

Shrum is a product of the league's ladder of development climbing from the EHLP, to the EHL, and then onto college hockey. At the EHL level, Shrum won 12 games and owned a .933 save percentage.
