87's Own Top Spots in Both EHL and EHLP

BOSTON, MA -- Mark it down as two weeks in a row with no new teams entering the Nexlevel Power Rankings in both the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP). With that being said however, the order of the teams did shuffle in each division.

EHL

In the EHL, the #1 New Jersey 87s continued to roll this past week, picking up wins over the Philadelphia Little Flyers and the New York Apple Core, to improve their record up to a perfect 7-0-0 for the season.

Coming in behind the 87's at #2 are the New Hampshire Avalanche who took care of business in both of their games this past week as well. Included in New Hampshire's pair of wins was a 2-1 victory over the Vermont Lumberjacks, who fall back to #5 in this week's rankings.

As for the #3 Boston Jr Rangers, the defending Regular Season Champions got back to work with wins over the Walpole ExpressValley Jr Warriors, and Maine Eclipse, over three consecutive days.

Wrapping things up at #4, Team Maryland owned a record of 2-0-1 in their three games this past week, with all three games needing at least overtime to determine a winner (one game went to a shootout).

EHLP

Just like their team in the EHL, the #1 New Jersey 87s now find themselves at the top of the EHLP rankings, after picking up a win over the New Jersey Renegades in their only game this past week.

Coming in at #2, also just like in the EHL, the New Hampshire Avalanche continue to roll, with a perfect 6-0-0 start to the season.

At #3, once again matching up with the EHL, the Boston Jr Rangers earned a pair points through tough losses in overtime and a shootout, but also wrapped up the week with a big victory yesterday afternoon in Maine.

Last, but not least, the Philadelphia Little Flyers faced off with the Renegades as well, sweeping their weekend series with their South Division rival.
