Maryland Forward Set to Join Teammates Next Fall

ODENTON, MD -- Kyle Peters, a forward for Team Maryland, has committed to Arcadia University for the fall of 2021.

The 2000-born native of Mount Laurel, NJ joined Maryland at the end of October, and in seven Eastern Hockey League (EHL) games to date, Peters has a pair of goals and an assist to his credit.

"It's exciting to coach a kid like Kyle," said Maryland head coach and general manager Josh Fusco. "He brings so much passion and energy to the team and his excitement level for his future has me excited for him. I firmly believe he's the perfect kid for a brand new program and this is why he came to us, to take everything to the next level, but also be successful."

Peters is one of three Maryland players set to join Arcadia next fall, as he will be joined by Halen Cookston and Mike Kocsis when he arrives on the Knights' campus.

Overall, Peters is glad that the step of his journey brought him to Maryland, and he's looking forward to finishing off his junior career in the EHL.

"I am excited to be part of growing a team and bring my leadership qualities to help the program become successful," said Peters. "Arcadia also checks off all the boxes for me and I cant wait to get started there next fall."
