New Partnership Interview on #Eshow Episode #48

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are pleased to announce a new partnership with Next College Student Athlete (NCSA), the world’s largest and most successful college athletic recruiting network.

Founded in 2000 to help educate student-athletes and their families on the college athletic recruiting process, today NCSA works with families, club, high school and college coaches to help hundreds of thousands of student-athletes find their best college fit.

“NCSA has been providing valuable tools and support to help student-athletes through every phase of the recruiting process for over 20 years,” said Jon Bruehl, NCSA senior manager of business development. “NCSA will be a great resource to EHL hockey players and coaches – helping coaches fill their rosters with the best possible athletes, and helping athletes find the right college fit.”

This new partnership is designed to benefit all of the players and coaches in the EHL and the EHLP, as the league continues to separate itself as the leader in NCAA Division II and III placements.

"I am beyond excited to announce this new partnership with NCSA," said Neil Ravin, EHL director of communications. "From both the player and coach perspectives, there are only positives that come from this new agreement, as our league continues to increase our commitment totals. This partnership will help us all learn even more about the process of moving onto the next level. I know this will only help us continue to increase our commitment totals."

As part of the partnership, Ravin sat down with Alec Thieda, the Senior Ice Hockey Recruiting Coach at NCSA. The interview included a discussion on Thieda's role with NCSA, as well as the story of his path from junior hockey to the NCAA Division III level.
