Exclusive Interview with Joe Doyle, the Associate Head Coach at Air Force

BOSTON, MA -- Since the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) was formed back in 2013, a total of 90 players have committed schools at the NCAA Division I level. For the majority of these players, their junior hockey careers began in the EHL, and from there, they climbed the USA Hockey Ladder of Development onto college hockey with stops taken in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the United States Hockey League (USHL).

This week's guest on the podcast (1:09) is Joe Doyle, the Associate Head Coach at the Air Force Academy, a program that has a player who serves as a prime example of this advancement. Blake Bride spent a season apiece at each level of the ladder, (EHL, NAHL, and USHL), and is now a sophomore at Air Force.

On this week's episode of the #Eshow, Doyle discusses Bride's story and how that path can be attainable by anyone that sets their mind to it. He also reviews his family's decision to send his own '02 son to the Seahawks Hockey Club this year, for his first season of junior hockey.

The #ECrew reviews a handful of teams that have already hit the holiday break (27:01), along with the upcoming slate of games leading up to Christmas.

As always, we wrap things up with the latest update on the Fantasy Challenge (52:10), and discuss how things may play out when we turn over to 2021.
