Seahawks Forward Set to Join Hawks this Fall

SOUTH DENNIS, MA -- Hunter Brackett, a forward for the Seahawks Hockey Club, has committed to Saint Anselm College for the fall of 2021.

The 2000-born native of Harwich Port, MA is in his first season in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), and in 14 total games to date, he's notched four goals and five assists to his name.

"We are excited for Hunter and his family about this decision, the junior hockey veteran will add some fire and skill to an always talented Hawks team at Saint A's," said Seahawks head coach and general manager Bill Zaniboni.

Brackett is the 2nd EHL player this season to choose the Hawks program, and the 15th player in league history to make this decision. This fall, he will be joined by Mark Blaney of the New Hampshire Avalanche, who made the same decision back in mid-January.

"I'm very happy to be continuing my academic and athletic future at Saint Anselm College next year," said Brackett. "I especially would like to thank my family, coaches, and teammates for their support throughout the years and this process. Go Hawks!"

Looking forward, Brackett and the Seahawks have six regular season games remaining, as they push to improve on their playoff position in the Central Division.
