Warriors Forward Set to Join Purple Knights this Fall

HAVERHILL, MA -- Jack Bavis, a defenseman for the Valley Jr Warriors, has committed to Saint Michael's College for the fall of 2021.

The '01 native of West Roxbury, MA came to the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) following three years of prep school hockey at the Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA. Despite being eligible to return to the Warriors again next season, Bavis made this commitment now, and will make the jump to the next level this fall.

"Jack Bavis has been an outstanding player for us this year, he hasn’t been rewarded with a ton of points, but does all the little things right that help make his line be successful," said Warriors head coach and general manager Ryan McGrath.

To date this season, Bavis has played in 26 total games, and throughout that time has collected seven goals and four assists to his credit.

Overall, Bavis is the 13th player in league history to choose Saint Michael's, and 142nd player in league history to choose a program in the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10).
