Wolves Captain and All-Star Forward Set to Join Knights this Fall

LACONIA, NH -- Donnie Feldman, a forward for the New England Wolves, has committed to Arcadia University for the fall of 2021.

The 2000-born native of Highland Falls, NY is in his 2nd year with the Wolves, and first full season in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). After joining the Wolves in early February of this past season (2020), Feldman has played in 37 career games in the EHL. Along that time the Wolves' captain has scored 26 goals and picked up 21 assists.

"We are very happy for Donnie on making his commitment to play at Arcadia," said Wolves head coach Tim Kunes. "Donnie is a top forward in EHL, but he is also a hard worker, a great kid, and a leader both on and off the ice for our team."

While displaying all of the qualities that Kunes mentioned, Feldman quickly turned heads around the league from the drop of the puck this season. The talented playmaker has produced consistently all season long, which is a big reason why he was named an EHL All-Star back in November.

Now, Feldman is set to join an Arcadia program that will be beginning play at the NCAA Division III level this fall. He is currently one of seven EHL players that has chosen the Knights so far this season.

"I'm very excited to welcome Donnie to our inaugural class," said Arcadia head coach Vincent Pietrangelo. "I know we are getting a smart two-way forward, who can win draws, provide offense and is a tremendous leader."

Feldman will look bring that leadership with him to the next level and help the Knights establish their foundation in college hockey. For now, he will look to guide his current team on a deep playoff run this upcoming March.
