Wolves Defenseman Set to Join Oles this Fall

LACONIA, NH -- Ben Luscko, a defenseman for the New England Wolves, has committed to St. Olaf College for the fall of 2021.

The '01 native of Duxbury, MA has played in seven games so far this season for the Wolves, due to the delayed start for many prep school hockey teams across New England. In those seven games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Luscko notched a pair of goals to go along with four assists.

"We're very happy for Ben to continue his hockey career at St. Olaf," said Wolves head coach Tim Kunes. "He's a great kid and great player who will have an impact right away at St. Olaf."

While Luscko is the first player in Wolves' program history to choose St. Olaf, the young defenseman is also the 14th player in league history to commit to the Oles.

St. Olaf is part of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC), which owns some of top programs in all of NCAA Division III hockey.
