Jr Rangers Take Care Of Business, Advance To Championship

Will face Avalanche in rematch on Sunday

WEST CHESTER, PA -- The Boston Jr. Rangers not only collected their second win for the Frozen Finals, but advanced to the final after defeating the New Hampshire Avalanche by a score of 2-1.

Below you'll find all of the goal recaps from the sixth game of the 2021 EHL Frozen Finals.

First Period

Jr. Rangers 1 – Avalanche 0

The Boston Jr. Rangers wasted no time getting on the score sheet after Jr. Rangers forward Andy Moore beat Avalanche goaltender Ronan Mobley high on the blocker side at the 16:15 mark.

Second Period

No Scoring

While the Avalanche were outshot 9-4 in the first period, New Hampshire improved its play in all three zones and outshot Boston 16-11 in the frame.

Third Period

Jr. Rangers 2 – Avalanche 0

Moore earned his second goal of the contest with 6:06 remaining in regulation. No, 7 for the red, white and blue beat Mobley on the low glove side and just over the right pad from the right hash mark.

Jr. Rangers 2 – Avalanche 1

New Hampshire’s Carson Fotheringham put home a rebound with 3:26 remaining in the contest and provided the Avs with hope, but the Jr. Rangers still prevailed.
