Smith and Di Paolo Join #ECrew for 2021-22 Season

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) are pleased to announce a pair of new staff additions for the upcoming 2021-22 season.

Lauren Smith has been named the new Rinkside Reporter for the EHL and the EHLP. Smith just recently graduated from the University of New Hampshire (UNH), and during her time at school she served as a Sideline and Post-Game Reporter for UNH Wildcat Productions.

Anthony Di Paolo is a familiar name for those located down on the Jersey Shore, as the league's new Beat Writer has been working with the New Jersey 87's ever since the program's inaugural season in the EHLP back in 2017. Di Paolo serves as the 87's broadcaster, and also played an assisting statistician role during the 2021 Frozen Finals this past March.

"I am beyond excited to officially welcome Lauren and Anthony to my staff," said Neil Ravin, the Associate Commissioner of the EHL. "Over the past few years we've been able to take our branding to the next level, and I have no doubts that these two young professionals will only help us continue to do so."

The EHL would like to give a warm welcome to Smith and Di Paolo as we continue to work our way through the offseason and towards the start of another milestone year.

Opening day is set for Friday, September 17th, so be sure to mark your calendars with all of the key dates and locations for 2021-22 season.
