Meisinger Commits to Framingham State

Chiefs Veteran Forward Set to Join Rams this Fall

NEWINGTON, CT -- Ben Meisinger, a forward for the Connecticut Chiefs, has committed to Framingham State University (FSU) for the fall of 2021.

The 2000-born native of West Chester, PA played three seasons in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), spending a year apiece with the Chiefs (2020-21), the Railers Jr. Hockey Club (2019-20), and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights (2018-19). Overall, Meisinger hit the ice for 112 career games in the EHL, tallying 26 goals and 24 assists along the way.

The veteran forward leaves behind a junior career that included an appearance in the 2019 EHL Frozen Finals, as he helped lead the Knights to Providence, RI. Now, looking forward, Meisinger has added his name to a strong list of incoming freshmen with the Rams.

When Meisinger arrives on campus, he will be joined by Jared Tyson, his 2020-21 teammate with the Chiefs. The remaining class of FSU commitments includes John Baker of the Railers Jr Hockey ClubTy Carter of the New Jersey 87'sAshton Collazo of the Seacoast Spartans, and Joseph Donahue of the Team Maryland.
