Rangers Forward Set to Join Dutchmen Next Fall

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Dylan Miller, a forward for the Boston Jr Rangers, has committed to Lebanon Valley College (LVC) for the fall of 2022.

The '01 native of Grosse Point Farms, MI chose the Rangers and the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) for his final season of junior hockey, and it's become quickly evident that he made the right decision. To date this season, Miller has notched six total points, with a pair of goals and four assists to his credit.

“We are very happy for Dylan and his commitment to LVC," said Rangers head coach and general manager Rich DeCaprio. "Coach [Don] Parsons is getting a great character kid and player. His size, skill, and ability to see the ice sets him apart from a lot of the players.”

Miller goes in the books as the 2nd player in Rangers' history to choose the LVC hockey program, and the 19th player in league history to make that decision. Miller is ecstatic over landing a spot that fits perfectly with what he was looking for.

“Why Lebanon Valley College? It is a great school with a hockey team that is getting better and better," said Miller.

The big forward went on to talk about what it means to him to commit to an NCAA Division III program.

“I am really excited for the college atmosphere,” added Miller. “Growing up playing AAA hockey, I never got the opportunity to play for my school or a team that truly feels like a community. All in all, I still need to prove why LVC gave me a commitment."
