Zack Simon (Walpole Express -- Minot Minotauros) and Cal Mell (Walpole Express -- Janesville Jets) were each recently selected to participate in the 2022 NAHL Top Prospects Tournament.

EHL Career -- Simon spent a single season in the EHL, but made it count. by ending the 2020-21 campaign claiming the Forward of the Year award. In 37 regular season games, the '01 native of Orono, MN scored 20 goals to go along with 33 assists, and then added an additional eight points (four goals, four assists) in six total postseason games. Fast-forward to this season, and Simon is still following the guidance of Cody Campbell, as the former Express head coach is also an example of an alum climbing the ladder to the next level.

EHL Career -- Mell spent a pair of seasons developing in the EHL, playing out his 2nd year for Cody Campbell who is also now coaching in the NAHL for the Minot Minotauros. Overall, in 85 career games in the EHL, Mell produced 48 total points for the Walpole Express.

Ian Graiff (New Jersey 87's -- Western New England) was recently named the Goalie of the Week in the CCC.

CCC Press Release -- Sophomore goaltender Ian Graiff (Newfield, N.J.) earned the tie in goal for Western New England as the Golden Bears skated to a 3-3 tie with Rivier on Friday (Jan. 7). He made 35 saves in the contest.

EHL Career -- Graiff spent just a single season in the EHL, tending the net as the starting goalie for 87's back in the 2019-20 season. In 15 total starts for New Jersey, the 2000-born netminder owned a record of 13-2-0 to go along with a 1.38 GAA, a .939 save percentage, and five shutouts.

Cole Archambeault (New Hampshire Avalanche -- Fitchburg State) was recently named the Rookie of the Week in the MASCAC.

MASCAC Press Release -- Archambeault posted four points on two goals and two assists in a 3-0 week for the Falcons. Notched two assists in a 4-0 triumph over Plymouth State on Tuesday before collecting his first collegiate marker in a 6-3 victory against Salem State on Thursday. Concluded the week with one goal in a 6-3 triumph against Westfield State on Saturday.

EHL Career -- Archambeault spent a pair of seasons with the Avalanche, playing in 67 total games combined between the 2018-19 and 2019-20 campaigns. Overall, the '99 native of Lunenburg, MA tallied 19 goals and 35 assists throughout his time in the league.

Conor Foley (Vermont Lumberjacks -- Franklin Pierce) was recently named the Player of the Week in the NE-10. To date this season, 6 of the 11 NE-10 Players of the Week have been EHL Alumni, including Foley who has now won the honor on three separate occasions.

NE-10 Press Release -- Foley poured in four goals, including the game-winner, on eight shots in Saturday's wild, 7-5 win at SNHU. He scored twice on the power play and once into an empty net to ice the game. He went +2 on the day. It was just the second four-goal performance in program history.

EHL Career -- Foley played out the 2018-19 season with the Lumberjacks, a team that came just a single period away from advancing to the Frozen Finals. The '98 native of Nahant, MA was a big reason for Vermont's success that year, finishing with 37 points in 34 total games combined between the regular season and the postseason.

Matt Amante (New England Wolves -- Southern New Hampshire University) was recently named the Rookie of the Week in the NE-10, an award that he also has no won three times to date.

NE-10 Press Release -- Amante scored a pair of goals for the Penmen in Saturday's loss to Franklin Pierce. Also contributed with a pair of assists both Friday vs. Stonehill and again Saturday against the Ravens. He ended the 1-1 week for the Penmen with six points (two goals, four assists) and a +2 ice rating. He is currently tied for fourth in the NE10 with nine assists on the season.

EHL Career -- Amante spent two full seasons in the EHL, starting off his first eight games with the New Hampshire Avalanche, and then he headed north in the Granite State to join the New England Wolves for the remainder of his junior hockey career. Overall, in 59 career games in the EHL, Amante racked up 22 goals and 38 assists to his credit.

Tommy Schwartz (Connecticut RoughRiders -- Saint Anselm College) was recently named the Rookie of the Week in the NE-10.

NE-10 Press Release -- Schwartz recorded six points in the three-game week for the Hawks. He opened with an assist in the loss to Assumption before assisting on three goals in Friday's 5-1 win over Post. He added a goal and an assist in Saturday's win, pushing his weekly total to one goal and five assists for six points. The sophomore finished the week with a +7 rating and 11 shots.

EHL Career -- Schwartz spent three seasons developing in the EHL with the RoughRiders, playing in 138 total games throughout his time in Connecticut. Overall, the former captain of the RoughRiders finished his junior career with 35 goals and 48 assists to his credit.

Matt Wiesner (Valley Jr. Warriors -- Babson College) was recently named the Player of the Week in the NEHC.

NEHC Press Release -- Wiesner scored two goals and added two assists for four points as No. 6 Babson split a weekend road series against a pair of top-10 opponents. The senior forward scored in the third period of Saturday's 5-3 loss at 10th-ranked Elmira and produced a season-high three points in Sunday's 5-3 win at No. 5 Hobart. He opened the scoring in the first period and chipped in with two assists to help the Beavers pick up their first win in Geneva, N.Y., since 2018.

EHL Career -- Wiesner played out the 2015-16 season in the EHL, before climbing up the USA Hockey Ladder of Development to two seasons in the NAHL. As for his lone campaign with the Warriors, Wiesner finished the year with 51 points in 44 total games.

Sean Dynan (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers -- Connecticut College) was recently named the Player of the Week in the NESCAC.

NESCAC Press Release -- Dynan helped Connecticut College post a 3-0-0 record with road wins at Hamilton, 2-1, Trinity, 3-1, and Wesleyan, 2-1. He played every minute of every game and totaled 102 saves. He made 42 saves at Hamilton, 39 at Trinity, and another 21 at Wesleyan. Dynan finished the week with a .971 save percentage and kept the Camels in each game, as the team was outshot 43-24 against Hamilton and 40-26 against Trinity.

EHL Career -- Dynan spent the 2019-20 season with the Jr. Flyers and first garnered the attention of Connecticut College when he was selected to play for Team EHL against a trio of NCAA Division III opponents. The '99 native of Reading, MA got the start and the win over Salem State that fall, and the rest was history from that point on. Dynan put together a .909 save percentage that year before heading off to join the Camels.

Ryan Romeo (New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs -- SUNY Brockport) was recently named the Player of the Week in the SUNYAC, for the 3rd time this season.

SUNYAC Press Release -- Romeo recorded a total of four points on one goal and three assists against the SUNY Canton Kangaroo's this weekend. Playing the Roo's twice, on Friday nights 7-2 victory, Romeo recorded one goal and two assists while earning a plus/minus of +4 in the game. The Following night in Brockport's 3-1 win over SUNY Canton, Romeo tallied one assist with a plus/minus of +1 giving him a total of +5 for the weekend. This season, Romeo is currently ranked fourth in the nation amongst all skater in points (29), third in assists (20) tied for 18th in power-play goals and tied for 38th in the nation in goals (9) along with teammates Andrew Harley and Jacob King.

EHL Career -- The '96 native of Fairpoint, NY spent two full seasons with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs, helping to win the program's first and only EHL Championship in the 2015-16 season. Overall, the steady defenseman played in an even 100 games throughout his time in the EHL, tallying 38 total points along the way  

Andrew Harley (East Coast Wizards -- SUNY Brockport) was recently named the Rookie of the Week in the SUNYAC, for the 2nd time this season.

SUNYAC Press Release -- Harley earns his second Prestosports Men's Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week Award following the Golden Eagles weekend sweep of the SUNY Canton Kangaroo's. In Friday's first matchup against the Roo's, Harley put on a show in front of the home crowd as the sophomore and Brockport, N.Y. native recorded a single-game career high total of four points scoring two goals and recording two assists. Harley's second goal of the game came off a Brockport power-play and would be listed as the winning goal in the 7-2 blowout victory over SUNY Canton. The following night Harley on the road, Harley still managed to record three points in the 3-1 victory contributing a part in each of Brockport's goals. Harley's three points came off two goals and one assist. His first goal would go down as the game winner for the second night in a row with his second goal came on an empty net. He finished the weekend with a total of seven points from four goals and two assists with a plus/minus of +4 while recording one power-play goal, one empty net goal and two game winners. Harley is now ranked tied for 16th in the nation in points (23), tied for 18th in the nation in assists (14) and tied for 38th in the nation in goals (9).

EHL Career -- Harley spent a pair of seasons with the Wizards, and then returned home to play for the school in the town he grew up in. Throughout his time in Bedford, MA, Harley was asked to move back and forth between playing forward and defense. Regardless of the fact however, Harley was able to rack up a solid 78 total points in 91 career games in the EHL.

Matt Sayles (Protec Jr. Ducks/New Jersey 87's -- Nazareth University) was recently named the Goalie of the Week in the UCHC, for the 2nd time this season.

UCHC Press Release -- Sayles recorded a 2.30 goals against average and made 82 saves on 89 shots (.921 save percentage) in three games for the Golden Flyers. On Tuesday, he began the week by stopping 22 shots in a 3-2 loss to No. 2 SUNY Geneseo. Sayles followed that up with 32 saves on 33 shots in a 4-1 win in conference play at Neumann. He closed out the week with 28 more saves in a 3-3 draw at UCHC foe Manhattanville.

EHL Career -- Sayles began the 2020-21 season with the 87's, and later finished the year across the state with the Ducks. Overall, the 2000-born native of Milton, GA won 16 total games throughout his final season of junior hockey.

Barry Kneedler (Philadelphia Jr. Flyers -- Neumann University) was recently named the Player of the Week in the UCHC.

NESCAC Press Release -- Kneedler rang in 2022 in a big way, recording five points on three goals and two assists and was plus-6 as Neumann recorded a pair of non-conference wins over Assumption College. On Monday, Kneedler dished out an assist and was plus-3 before recording a hat-trick and an assist in a 7-1 win over Tuesday.

EHL Career -- Kneedler played a pivotal role on the 2016-17 Jr. Flyers team that knocked off the Little Flyers to win the franchise's first-ever EHL Championship. After posting 25 points in 34 total regular season games, the '96 forward exploded in the postseason, finishing with 14 additional points in 12 total games.
