Wolves Veteran Defenseman Set to Join Rams this Fall

LACONIA, NH -- Jack Ennis, a defenseman for the New England Wolves, has committed to Framingham State University for the fall of 2022.

The '01 native of Boston, MA is in his 3rd season with the Wolves, and over the course of his career in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), the defensive defenseman has notched 18 total points in 115 total games played.

“I’m really happy for Jack," said Wolves head coach Tim Kunes. "He’s a kid who has improved so much during his time here.  Through his hard work and perseverance he’s accomplished his goal of playing NCAA hockey. Framingham is getting a player with tremendous character and leadership skills."

Ennis goes in the books as the first EHL player to choose Framingham State so far this season, as he was followed closely behind by his teammate Bobby Bernier. The pair of Wolves bring the Rams' total up to 32 players committed from the EHL since the league was formed back in 2013.

As for the 6'1" defender, Ennis' age-out season is proving to be his best, as his 10 total points to date adds up to more than he had tallied in the previous two seasons combined.

Looking forward, Ennis will now seek to help his team improve on their playoff position in the North Division standings, with nine games remaining in the regular season.
