Wizards Forward Set to Join Skyhawks this Fall

BEDFORD, MA -- Cameron Collins, a forward for the East Coast Wizards, has committed to Stonehill College for the fall of 2022.

The '02 native of Raynham, MA joined the Wizards in mid-January, and since his arrival, he's averaged over a point-per-game with five goals and 14 assists in 14 total Eastern Hockey League (EHL) contests to date.

“We are really excited for Cam and his commitment to Stonehill," said Wizards head coach and general manager Kory Falite. "Cam played for our midget program through high school and it was a no-brainer when he wanted to join us late in the year. He’s had an immediate impact on our team and I’m confident he will do the same at Stonehill.”

Collins goes down as the 3rd EHL player to commit to Stonehill so far this season, as he will team up with Mike Martignetti of the Railers Jr Hockey Club and Ryan Davies of the Valley Jr Warriors this fall. Overall, Collins is the 19th player in league history to choose Stonehill and 175th player to commit to a school in the Northeast-10 Conference (NE10).

“I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates, Coach Falite, Coach [Chris] Santello, and the Wizards organization for all of their support,” said Collins.

Collins and the Wizards have two games remaining on their regular season schedule, starting with a big matchup against the Warriors on Tuesday.

The winner of the weekday showdown will most likely avoid the Play-In Game in the East Division, and lock up a First Round matchup with the Walpole Express.
