Little Flyers All-Star Forward Set to Join Golden Eagles this Fall

ASTON, PA -- Adam Beauvais, a forward for the Philadelphia Little Flyers, has committed to SUNY Brockport for the fall of 2022.

The '01 native of Macomb, MI is in his 2nd season with the Little Flyers, and through 59 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Beauvais has scored 36 goals to go along with 40 assists.

"We're all very proud of Adam and his commitment to SUNY Brockport," said Little Flyers head coach and general manager Mark Catron. "Getting Adam back after starting the season in the NAHL was a huge spark for our team. We all know he is one of the most dangerous players in the league with the puck on his stick, but his leadership this year has been what stands out to me the most. Adam is one of those players that makes everyone around him better; his compete level has been off the charts this season and we’re going to be relying on him heavily throughout the playoffs. SUNY Brockport got a good hockey player and a great person in Adam Beauvais; I’m excited to see what happens over the next four years for Adam with the Golden Eagles."

As Catron mentioned, Beauvais' 2021-22 campaign began with the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), before returning back to the Little Flyers in mid-October. The production began from the moment he returned, and hasn't slowed down for a second throughout the year, and look no further for proof then the six-game point streak that Beauvais is currently riding.

As for Brockport, Beauvais adds his name to an impressive incoming freshmen class that includes nine total players from throughout the EHL. However, as Catron also mentioned above, Beauvais may be the most dangerous player of them all.

"I'm excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at SUNY Brockport," said Beauvais. "I’d like to thank my parents and all of my siblings for always supporting and pushing me to this point in my career. I’d also like to thank all of my former teammates and coaches for being a part of my hockey journey. I’d also like to thank the Philadelphia Little Flyers organization, along with Coach Catron and Anthony Lorusso, for giving me this opportunity. To my teammates, thank you for being my brothers and pushing me day in and day out. Thank you to Coach [Brian] Dickinson and Coach [Brian] Fedele for the opportunity to be an NCAA Student Athlete at Brockport. I’m excited for the next four years as a Golden Eagle!”

The EHL All-Star and 1st Team All-South Division Selection, just helped lead his team past Team Maryland in the First Round of the EHL Playoffs.

Next up, the South Division Finals against the New Jersey 87s, with a trip to the EHL Frozen Finals in Providence, RI on the line.
