As a second-year player, he is playing his best hockey at the perfect time. I am very excited for Alex to get this opportunity.”

"I am looking forward to playing in the CCC," said Pratt. "It is a competitive conference that will be fun to play in. With Suffolk being located in the city, there are a lot of internship opportunities while at school that will help build relationships before I even graduate from college.”

Pratt went on to talk about his decision to head to Walpole for his age-out season, paid off with this moment.

"My experience in Walpole has helped a lot," added Pratt. "I am pushed every day in practice to work hard and compete against my teammates. Off the ice we are held accountable to be respectful and helpful in the community and I believe that will help me at Suffolk and further in the future.”

As mentioned above, Pratt and the Express are currently battling the Rangers with a trip to the 2022 Frozen Finals on the line. Game two of the best-of-three series is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 12:00 pm in Walpole.
