Michigan Elite Hockey Set to Join Next Week's Event in Hartland

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) is pleased to announce that Michigan Elite Hockey will be bringing a pair of teams to next week's combine event in Hartland, MI. The Michigan Elite Hockey program is a high-end organization located in the East-Central region of the state.

"Michigan Elite Hockey is happy to participate in the EHL Combine," said Michael Wainwright, the General Manager of the MEH program. "We’ve heard great things from players, families, and coaches about the league.  We are a player development company so it’s a great opportunity for our players to get exposure to a great league on the East coast.  We are all about providing exposure and opportunity, and I think this could be the start of a great partnership!"

Wainwright's excitement is matched by the EHL, as the league looks to continue to grow its brand across the country.

"I can only echo what Michael had to say," said Neil Ravin, the Associate Commissioner of the EHL. "This is just the start of what will become a great partnership between the EHL and MEH. Combined between our 2 divisions of play, we had over 30 players from Michigan participate in the 2021-22 season. This includes Jordan Comilla from the Philadelphia Little Flyers, the Rookie of the Year in the EHL. The state of Michigan is rich with talented young hockey players, and I'm looking forward to seeing more and more of these stories make their way East and through the EHL."

Along with Comilla, who was mentioned above by Ravin, the high-powered Little Flyers' EHL team also had seven other players on their roster from the state of Michigan. Half of the group tallied over 25 points throughout the year, and rest of the player pool made significant contributions to their respective teams.

There are limited forward spots still available for next week's event, so be sure to sign up via the link below, before it's too late.
