BOSTON, MA -- It's hard to believe that the end of October as already right around the corner in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP).

Below you'll find the 5th set of weekly top performers for the 2022-23 season. The forward and defensemen awards are presented by Verbero Hockey, while the goalie honors come courtesy of Vaughn Custom Sports.

EHL STARS OF THE WEEK #5

The EHL is pleased to announce that A.J. Lackas (New England Wolves), Adam Jubran (Seahawks Hockey Club), and Tristan Fattedad (Seacoast Spartans) have been named the Top Performers for Week #5.

Lackas and the Wolves keep chugging along, as they picked up a pair of wins this past week over the New Hampshire Avalanche and the Railers Jr. Hockey Club, improving their overall record up to 10-1-1 for the season. The stellar mark is far and away the best start to a season in franchise history for the Wolves.

As for the '03 native of Las Vegas, NV, Lackas set the pace offensively for his team, scoring five total goals to go along with an additional assist. The six points increase the playmaker's total up to 12 for the season, which puts him on a great pace to surpass the 31 total points he put up combined between the regular season and the postseason this past year (2021-22). It's also worth noting that two of Lackas' five goals stood as the game-winners in each respective contest.

Moving back to the blue line, and sticking to the trend of returning players, Jubran and the Seahawks endured an up-and-down week this past week, posting a record of 2-2-0 over the course of their four games. As for the '02 native of Cortland, NY, Jubran notched five total points throughout the week, scoring a pair of goals including one game-winner, to go along with adding three assists to this name.

For the season, Jubran now has an even 11 points in 11 games to date, and just like Lackas, he is well on his way to setting new career-high marks this year. Next up for Jubran however, is a pair of exhibition matchups this week as the veteran defenseman will represent the Seahawks at the 2022 EHL All-Star College Series, which includes matchups against Nazareth College and SUNY Brockport.

Wrapping things up with another returning player, Fattedad and the Spartans only hit the ice for a single game this past week, but they made it count by earning a 1-0 shutout victory over the Boston Jr. Rangers.

The '03 native of Riverside, CT was simply spectacular en route to earning his 5th win of the season and 1st shutout. Fattedad stopped all 43 shots that he faced, lowering his GAA down to 1.64 and increasing his save percentage up to .949. After winning 12 total games this past year for the Protec Jr. Ducks, Fattedad has nearly reached half of that win total (5) before the month of November.

EHLP STARS OF THE WEEK #5

The EHLP is pleased to announce that Max Beaulac (Railers Jr. Hockey Club), Dan Lawless (Philadelphia Little Flyers), and Anthony Beaulieu (Valley Jr. Warriors) have been named the Top Performers for Week #5.

Beaulac and Railers hit the ice for a pair of games this past week, knocking off the Vermont Lumberjacks and the New England Wolves along the way. As for the '03 native of Fitchburg, MA, the two-game stretch was Beaulac's best of the season, collecting six total points with three goals and three assists. For the year, Beaulac now has an even 12 points in 12 games to date.

With a record of 8-3-1, the Railers' 17 total points puts them at the top of the Boston Division. Despite having played more games than all of the teams that are chasing them, Beaulac and Railers have the chance to take care of the own business with some big upcoming divisional matchups. One contest in particular to circle is on Saturday, October 29th when the Railers host the Boston Jr. Rangers at 2:50 pm.

Lawless and the Little Flyers split this past weekend's home-and-home series with the Union Jr. Thunder, with each team winning in their respective home venue. As for the '03 native of Secane, PA, Lawless more than doubled his point total for the season, adding a goal and a pair of assists to his credit.

For the year, Lawless now has five points in eight total games to date, and Philadelphia's record of 2-5-1 puts them right in the middle (3rd place) of the Mid-Atlantic Division.

Wrapping things up in goal, and similar to Fattedad in the EHL, Beaulieu and the Warriors hit the ice for just a single game this past week, but they made it count by knocking off the Wolves by the score of 5-1.

As for the '04 native of Lawrence, MA, Beaulieu more than earned his 3rd win of the season by stopping 40 of the 41 shots that he faced. Beaulieu improved his record up to 3-0-1 for the year, to go along with a 2.04 GAA and a .938 save percentage. He'll look to keep the momentum rolling with six more games left on Valley's schedule between now and the end of October.
