The '02 native of Detroit, MI is in his second season with the Little Flyers, and through 91 career games in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL), Cathcart has notched 54 total points to his credit.

“As an organization we are all very proud of Caleb and what he has accomplished in two years with the Little Flyers," said Little Flyers head coach and general manager Mark Catron. "In that time, we’ve seen him round out his game and become a more mature hockey player especially in our defensive zone Caleb takes his role as a leader in our organization seriously, getting on the ice with his billet brother's 2008 Little Flyers team at least once a week to help those younger players out. That’s what it’s all about at the end of the day, being a good member of our hockey community and being a leader. I’m excited to see Caleb play at the NCAA level next season with the Amcats.”

Ealier this season, Cathcart was named an EHL South All-Star, representing the Little Flyers and EHL in an exhibition game against Lebanon Valley College (LVC) of the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC). That experience, along with not missing a single game so far this year for the Little Flyers, has Cathcart feeling ready for the next step in his journey.

“I’m very proud to announce my commitment to Anna Maria College to continue my academic and athletic career," said Cathcart. "I’d first like to thank God for all he has done. I also would like to thank my family for all they have done for me to play this great game. Lastly, I’d like to thank Coach Catron, Anthony Lorusso and my teammates for being a second family. I’m very grateful for the opportunity to play for Coach [David] McCauley and his staff. Go Amcats!”

Cathcart and the Little Flyers are right in the thick of things in the South Division, as we turn the corner and head down the final stretch of the regular season.
