BOSTON, MA -- Week #5 Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Stars of the Week for October 10th through 15th are presented by Hockey Night in Boston.

North Division

Joakim Cameron - New England Wolves (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Joakim Cameron of the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 native of Canada was key to his team’s two big wins over the Vermont Lumberjacks. Cameron scored nine points (6G, 3A) in two games including six in the Wolves 8-2 win on Saturday. He also added two goals in their 6-3 win on Sunday. The Wolves will have a week off before hosting the New Hampshire Avalanche on October 24th at 1:45 pm.

East Division

Charles Watson - Boston Jr Rangers (G)

The EHL is pleased to announce goaltender Charles Watson of the Boston Jr. Rangers as the East Division Star of the Week. Watson, an ’03 native of Yarmouth, ME had a big week for the Jr. Rangers going 3-0-0 in net. Watson allowed just two total goals in three games and made 90 saves. He was superb in the Jr. Rangers’ 2-1 win over the Avalanche, 8-1 win over the Boston Jr. Terriers, and 5-0 win over the Valley Jr. Warriors. Watson has a 1.44 GAA through eight starts in net. After starting the season 0-2-0, the Jr. Rangers have won nine straight and Watson is big reason for that. They look to keep it going next Tuesday when they host the Seahawks Hockey Club at 11:00 am.

Central Division

Connor McAleer - Railers Jr Hockey Club (F)

The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is forward Connor McAleer from the Railers Jr. Hockey Club. The ’03 native of East Lansing, MI was a vital part of the Railers’ two big wins last week. First he added a goal and an assist in their 7-3 win over the Connecticut RoughRiders and then scored all four goals, including the overtime winner, in a 4-3 win against the Connecticut Chiefs. McAleer has 10 goals though eight games for the Railers and is a key reason for their 6-1-1 start. Next up, McAleer and the Railers travel to New York to play two games against the Apple Core on October 24th and 25th at Brewster Ice Arena.

South Division

Elijah Clow - Philadelphia Hockey Club (F)

The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is Philadelphia Hockey Club forward Elijah Clow. Clow an ’03 native of Sault St. Marie, MI, had two goals and an assist in Philly Hockey Club’s two big wins. First, he added an assist in their 2-1 win over the Philadelphia Little Flyers and then had two goals, including a game-winning short-handed goal, in a 4-3 win over Team Maryland. Next up, Philly Hockey Club plays the RoughRiders on Friday, October 27th at SoNo Ice House.

New-England Division

Cole Davidson - Adirondack Jr Thunder (F)

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Cole Davidson from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as the New England Division Star of the Week. The ’05 Averill Park, NY native had a four-goal weekend in two big wins over the Union Jr. Thunder. Davidson had a goal and two assists in a 4-2 win on Saturday and a hat trick in a 5-3 win on Sunday. Davidson also was a Star of the Week back in week one. Next up the Adirondack Jr. Thunder play the New England Wolves on Friday and Saturday at Merrill Fay Arena.

Boston Division

Charlie DiMartino - Express Hockey Club (F)

The EHLP Boston Division Star of the Week for week five is forward Charlie DiMartino from the Express Hockey Club. The ’04 Braintree, MA native powered his team to two big wins as he tallied six total goals in three games. DiMartino had one goal in a 6-5 shootout loss to the Avalanche, and then had four goals in a 5-2 win over the Seahawks. He also added a goal in their 4-1 win over the Valley Jr. Warriors. Through 11 games played DiMartino has an astounding 26 points (16G, 10A) and has been key to the Express’ 8-1-2 start. Next up for DiMartino and the Express, is a trip to Breakaway Ice Arena to take on the Boston Jr. Rangers on Sunday at 8 pm.

Mid-Atlantic Division

Frankie Smith - New Jersey 87's (G)

The Mid-Atlantic Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is goaltender Frankie Smith from the New Jersey 87’s. The ’04 native of Little Ferry, NJ was a vital part of the 87’s 1-0 shutout win over the Connecticut Chiefs. Smith had 18 total saves and earned his first shutout in net this season and has a 2.59 GAA in six starts so far. Next up for Smith and the 87’s is hosting the Pennsylvania Huntsmen on Sunday at 4:40 pm at Jersey Shore Arena.
