Wineman Channels Olympic Oshie, Scores 3 of 4 in Shootout Victory

BOSTON, MA -- Week #9 Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and the Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Stars of the Week for November 6th through November 13th are presented by Hockey Night in Boston.

North Division

Cole Fagan - Valley Jr Warriors (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Cole Fagan of the Valley Jr. Warriors as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’03 native of North Andover, MA had a great showing at the North Regional Showcase last week for the Warriors. Fagan had seven points (3G, 4A) in two games including a two-goal, two-assist game in a wild 7-6 overtime loss to the Vermont Lumberjacks. Fagan also had a goal and two assists in a 5-3 win over the Seacoast Spartans. Next up, the Jr. Warriors host the New England Wolves on Friday at 11:30 am.

East Division

Phil Feinberg - Boston Jr Terriers (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Phil Feinberg from the Boston Jr. Terriers as the East Division Star of the Week. Feinberg, an ’03 native of Needham, MA helped his team go 2-0-0 in two games at the North Regional Showcase. Feinberg had a hat-trick and one assist in a 5-4 shootout win over the New England Wolves. He also had a goal in the shootout. Feinberg also contributed two assists in his team's 5-3 win over Providence Hockey Club in what was a successful week for the Jr. Terriers. Next up, they host the New Hampshire Avalanche on Friday at 1:00 pm at the Canton Sportsplex.

Central Division

Jack Wineman - Railers Jr Hockey Club (F)

The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is forward Jack Wineman from the Railers Jr. Hockey Club. The ’03 native of Birmingham, MI helped the Railers’ have a 2-0-0 showing at the North Regional Showcase to extend their winning streak to 13. Wineman scored on three of four attempts in a nine-round shootout, in a 3-2 win over the Bridgewater Bandits. Wineman also had one goal and one assist in a 6-3 win over the Express Hockey Club as the Railers stayed hot. Worcester looks to keep it going Tuesday when they travel to Newington Arena to play the Connecticut Chiefs at 11:30 am.

South Division

Tim Brilley - New Jersey Bears (G)

The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is New Jersey Bears goaltender Tim Brilley. Brilley, an ’04 native of Boston, MA earned a big victory in net in a 4-1 win over Philadelphia Hockey Club. Brilley had 38 saves while allowing just one goal and has been a key asset for the Bears this season. He is 5-1-0 with a 1.70 GAA in six starts with the Bears. Next up, Brilley and the Bears take on Team Maryland on Tuesday at 2:00 pm as part of the South Regional Showcase at Hollydell Ice Arena.

New-England Division

Josh Arrobas - Adirondack Jr Thunder (F)

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Josh Arrobas from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as the New England Division Star of the Week. The ’04 Montreal, QUE native scored a hat-trick in an 8-2 win over the Vermont Lumberjacks. Arrobas also had two assists in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Lumberjacks. In 15 games played, Arrobas has been key for the Jr. Thunder putting up 13 goals and 11 assists. Next up, the Jr. Thunder play the New Hampshire Avalanche in back-to-back games this Saturday and Sunday at the Ice Den Arena.

Boston Division

Carter Amidon - Boston Jr Rangers (F)

The EHLP Boston Division Star of the Week for week nine is forward Carter Amidon from the Boston Jr. Rangers. The ’04 Pepperell, MA native helped his team go 3-0-0 in an impressive week. Amidon had an assist in a 5-2 win over the Seahawks Hockey Club, a goal and an assist in a 6-4 win over the Bridgewater Bandits and two big goals in a 3-1 win over the Railers’. Amidon is having a great season so far with the Jr. Rangers and currently has 24 points (14G, 10A) in 20 games. The Jr. Rangers have now won four straight and are in first place with a 16-2-2 record in the Boston Division. Next, up they travel to Tony Kent Arena to take on the Seahawks at 11:00 am on Tuesday.

Mid-Atlantic Division

Ayden Georgiano - New Jersey 87's (F)

The Mid-Atlantic Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is forward Ayden Georgiano from the New Jersey 87’s. The ’03 native of Jackson, NJ helped his team go 2-0-0 with two goals and three assists in the two games. Georgiano had a goal and two assists in a 4-0 shutout win over the Union Jr. Thunder and a goal and one assist in a 3-1 win over the Connecticut Chiefs. The 87’s have been hot as of late winning five straight and are currently in first place in the Mid-Atlantic Division. Georgiano has been a big reason for that success and has 25 points (10G, 15A) in 18 games played. Georgiano also earned Star of the Week honors back in week four. Next up for the 87s, they play the Pennsylvania Huntsman on Sunday at 2:55 pm at Power Play Rink.
