Top Performers Named for Third Month of the Season

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) honor the top performers of the month of November, presented by Hockey Night in Boston.

Forward of the Month

Kaleb Miller - Boston Jr Rangers

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Kaleb Miller of the Boston Jr. Rangers as a November Star of the Month. The ’03 native of Traverse City, MI tallied 10 points (8G, 2A) in the month of November and has been a driving force in the Jr. Rangers success. Miller recorded at least one point in every game this month, and though 20 total games played this season, he has tallied an impressive 24 total points (16G, 8A). The Jr. Rangers have won seven straight and are off to a 17-4-0 start. They currently stand in first place in the East Division.

Defenseman of the Month

Marek Herda - New England Wolves

The EHL is pleased to announce defenseman Marek Herda of the New England Wolves as a November Star of the Month. The ’04 native of Tabor, Czech Republic has been a key member of the blue line for the Wolves through the team’s first three months. In the month of November, Herda put up five goals and an assist and has been solid all season long totaling 16 points (7G, 9A) in 21 games. The Wolves currently hold a 12-7-3 record and sit in second place behind the New Hampshire Avalanche in the North Division.

Goaltender of the Month

Tim Briley - New Jersey Bears

The EHL is pleased to announce New Jersey Bears goalie Tim Briley as a November Star of the Month. The ’04 native of Boston, MA was lights out in his three starts this month and went 3-0-0 with just two goals allowed and 90 total saves. His most impressive win was a 2-0 shutout over the Philadelphia Little Flyers. Through eight games started, Briley is 7-1-0 with an impressive 1.38 GAA in 478 minutes. After losing his first start of the season, Brilley has gone 7-0-0 and is locked in for surging Bears. The Bears are 19-3-1 and are in first place in the South Division.

Forward of the Month

Cole Davidison - Adirondack Jr Thunder

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Cole Davidson from the Adirondack Jr. Thunder as a November Star of the Month. The ’05 native from Averill Park, NY has been on an absolute tear this season. In the month of November alone, Davidson put up 14 points including four goals and 10 assists. His most memorable game came in an 8-2 win over the Lumberjacks where he had three goals and two assists. Through 19 games played, Davidson has 34 points (16G, 18A) and is a big part of Adirondack’s success. Davidson was named Star of the Week in weeks one, five, and six. The Jr. Thunder are (13-3-3) and are in first place in the New England Division.

Defenseman of the Month

Brock Burrell - Pennsylvania Huntsmen

The EHLP is pleased to announce defenseman Brock Burrell of the Pennsylvania Huntsmen as a November Star of the Month. The ’05 native of Hailey, ID has been a key member of the blue line for the Huntsmen all season. In the month of November, Burrell had three goals and 10 assists and recorded at least one point in every game played. Burrell was also a star of the week in week eight and through 19 games has tallied 19 points (8G, 11A). He is a big reason why the Huntsmen hold the top spot in the Mid-Atlantic Division with a 14-6-1 record.

Goaltender of the Month

Matt Beatty - Pennsylvania Huntsmen

The EHLP is pleased to announce goalie Matt Beatty of the Pennsylvania Huntsmen as a November Star of the Month. The ’04 native of Broomall, PA went 2-0-0 this month allowing five goals and making 59 total saves. Beatty has also been a key part of the Huntsmen success as through nine starts, he has gone 7-2-0 with a 2.26 GAA in 504 minutes. He has allowed just 19 total goals all season and was also a star of the week back in week seven.
