WALPOLE, MA -- Cody Walker, a forward for the Express Hockey Club, has committed to Albertus Magnus College for the fall of 2024.
An '03 from Boise, ID, Walker played 44 games for the Express in the 2023-24 season, scoring 23 goals and dishing out 33 assists for a total of 59 points.
"Cody was awesome to have at the rink every day," said Express head coach Nic Cota. "His quirkiness and love for hockey were just great to have in the locker room for our team. Not only was Cody a great teammate, but he also proved to be one of the top players in the league all season long. Congratulations to Cody and his family on the commitment to Albertus. We look forward to watching your continued success."
Walker expressed his gratitude for the support he received throughout his journey.
"I'd like to thank God for answering my prayers and leading me to such a great school like Albertus Magnus," said Walker. "Thank you to my family for helping me along the way, I couldn’t do this without them! I'd also like to thank Coach Cota and Coach Kyle for developing me into the player I always wanted to be."
Walker will be joining several other EHL alumni at Albertus Magnus, including Akezhan Melis from the Boston Junior Rangers, Andrew VanAntwerp from the Boston Jr. Terriers, A.J. Lackas from the New England Wolves, and Mike Santonelli from the New Hampshire Avalanche.
