Earning all-star appearances in both the EHL and EHLP, he was a crucial part of our team's success both on and off the ice. Most importantly, his growth as a person is something I'm most proud of him for. Being part of his development and watching him mature into the young man he is now is what this is all about. I'm excited to see him continue to flourish both on and off the ice at Franklin Pierce."
King will be joining several other EHL alumni at Franklin Pierce, including Ryan Dutcher, Phillip Parker, Matthew Frett, and Thomas Perivolotis from Providence Hockey Club, as well as Giovanni Ursillo from H.C. Rhode Island, Kade Maddock from New Hampshire Avalanche, Riley Mastowski from Team Maryland, and past teammate Tyler Turner from the Vermont Lumberjacks.
"I am very excited to continue my athletic and academic career at Franklin Pierce University,” said King. “ I am so thankful for my family and friends for all the support they have given me throughout my hockey career. I am also very thankful for all of my coaches growing up and especially Coach Gustin. Coach Gustin and the whole Vermont organization have given me the best 3 years of my life and molded me into who I am today as a hockey player and person."
