CANTON, MA -- Colin Rowbotham, a goaltender for the Boston Jr. Terriers, has committed to Anna Maria College for the fall of 2024.
An '03 from Delano, Minnesota, Rowbotham started the 2023-24 season with Providence Hockey Club, playing two games with a 3.82 GAA and a .907 SV%. He then moved to the Boston Jr. Terriers, where he played seven games, and his GAA dropped to 1.96, to go along with a .945 SV%.
"We are very happy for Colin and his commitment to Anna Maria," said Terriers head coach and general manager Cody Gonyeau. "He is a kid who trusted the process and competed hard in every opportunity he was given. He is a great person, and we are looking forward to seeing him be successful in his journey with college hockey. Best of luck, Rowbo!"
Rowbotham expressed his excitement about the next step in his hockey career.
"I’m excited about my commitment to Anna Maria and to take the step to the next level," said Rowbotham. "I want to thank the Boston Jr. Terriers organization for helping me in this long process, especially Coach Demariano and Coach Gonyeau, for helping me grow my game and find the right school for me. I’m looking forward to continuing my journey at Anna Maria with Coach McCauley."
When he joins the Amcats this coming season, Rowbotham will team up with Nick Hussa from the Philadelphia Little Flyers, whom also committed to Anna Maria back in July.
