FLEMINGTON, NJ -- Brock Forrest, a forward for the New Jersey Bears, has committed to Chatham University for the fall of 2024.
An '03 from Hillsborough, New Jersey, Forrest joined the Bears late in the 2023-24 season, playing in seven games and contributing with a pair of goals to go along with one assist.
"I would like to congratulate Brock and his family. They are a big part of our organization. I am excited for him to take his game to the next level," said Bears head coach Jason Kilcoyne.
Forrest expressed his gratitude for the support he's received throughout his journey.
"I would like to thank my parents and brother who have pushed me this far and brought me to where I am as a player and person today," said Forrest. "I also want to thank all my previous coaches and staff who have given me opportunities to play and develop. Lastly, thank you to the Bears organization for bringing me in late in the season and treating me as family right away. They gave me the best opportunity to be seen and gain college interest."
At Chatham University, Forrest will join Cole Mitchell from the Boston Jr. Terriers. Chatham, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, competes in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) as part of NCAA Division III.
