Top EHL & EHLP Performers for Week #7

BOSTON, MA -- The Eastern Hockey League (EHL) and Eastern Hockey League Premier (EHLP) Announce Stars of Week Seven for October 29th through November 4th.

Eastern Hockey League

North Division

Harrison Kramer - New England Wolves (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Harrison Kramer of the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 native of Redlands, CA had a monster game in a 9-2 win over the Boston Dukes. Kramer exploded for four goals and an assist in the big win. He continues his great season so far as in 14 games played, Kramer has 18 points (11G, 7A) and is a big part of the Wolves early season success. The Wolves (9-5-0-0) will be back in action Tuesday when they take on the New York Apple Core in the November Regional Showcase at 6:15pm.

East Division

Daxton St. Hillaire - East Coast Wizards (F)

The EHL is pleased to announce forward Daxton St. Hillaire from the East Coast Wizards as the East Division Star of the Week. St. Hillaire, an ’04 native of Lewiston, ME had a good week for the Wizards tallying two goals and four assists in three games played. St. Hillaire started off the week with single assists in wins over the Boston Jr. Eagles and Vermont Lumberjacks. In the second game of the week against the Lumberjacks, St. Hillaire had a hand in four of the five goals with two goals and two assists in a 5-2 win. St. Hillaire has been a staple on the forward line for the Wizards with 20 points (5G, 15A) in 14 games. The red-hot Wizards (11-2-1-0) will be back in action Tuesday taking on the Express Hockey Club (8-1-0-2) in the November Regional Showcase at 10:00am.

Central Division

Kaden Clegg - Providence Capitals (G)

The Central Division Star of the Week for the EHL is goaltender Kaden Clegg from the Providence Capitals. The ’06 native of West Kelowna, BC had two big wins for his team this past week. The first was a 3-0 shutout win over the Boston Jr. Terriers where Clegg tallied 39 saves. Clegg followed that up with a 5-2 win against HC Rhode Island where he allowed two goals and 29 saves. In six appearances with the Capitals this season, Clegg is 4-1 with a 2.21 GAA in 352 minutes played. The Capitals (10-3-1) will face-off against the New Hampshire Avalanche (10-1-0-1) in a big game Tuesday at the November Regional Showcase at 1:15pm.

South Division

Alexander Legkov - New Jersey 87's (F)

The South Division Star of the Week in the EHL is New Jersey 87’s forward Alexander Legkov. Legkov, an ’04 native of Moskva, Russia had a solid two games for his team this past week tallying one goal and six assists. Legkov contributed three assists in a 6-3 win over the Pennsylvania Huntsmen and then had a goal and three assists in a 5-3 win against the Huntsmen. In four games with the 87’s this season, Legkov has recorded eight total points. The 87’s (6-6-0-0) next up will face-off with the New Jersey Bears (12-1-0-2) Wednesday at 12 noon at Flemington Ice Arena.

Eastern Hockey League Premier

North Division

Charles-Etienne Roy - New England Wolves (F)

The EHLP is pleased to announce forward Charles-Etienne Royfrom the New England Wolves as the North Division Star of the Week. The ’06 La Guadeloupe, QUE native had another big week for the Wolves tallying two goals and two assists in a 7-4 win over the Valley Jr. Warriors. This is Roy’s third Star of the Week honor as he was also named one in week three and six. In 16 games, he has 30 points (15G, 15A). The undefeated Wolves (16-0-0-0) will be back in action Tuesday when they host the Bridgewater Bandits at 1:45pm at Merrill Fay Arena.

East Division

Cooper Grossguth - Express Hockey Club (F)

The EHLP East Division Star of the Week for week seven is forward Cooper Grossguth from the Express Hockey Club. The ’05 Warwick, RI native had a big week for his team. Grossguth had three of the Express’s four goals in a 5-4 shootout loss against the Seahawks Hockey Club. He followed that up with a goal and an assist in a 6-5 shootout win over Connecticut Nor’Easter. This is Grossguth’s second Star of the Week honor and he continues to shine for the Express with 20 points (11G, 9A) in 13 games. The Express (4-6-1-2) are off until Saturday when they play the Providence Capitals (8-4-1-0) at the Rhode Island Sports Center at 6:30pm.

South Division

Patrick McGillicuddy - New Jersey 87's (G)

The South Division Star of the Week for the EHLP is goaltender Patrick McGillicuddy from the New Jersey 87’s. The ’06 native of East Longmeadow, MA had another big game in net earning a 2-0 shutout win against the New Jersey Renegades with 24 saves. This was McGillicuddy’s fifth shutout of the season as he continues to be a big asset for the 87’s. McGillicuddy was also named October Player of the Month. In eight starts so far this season, McGillicuddy is 8-0 with a 1.14 GAA in 475 minutes played. The 87’s (11-2-0-0) will be back in action Saturday night when they play the Renegades at 7:45 pm at Sports Care Arena.
