SEWELL, NJ -- Connor Movalli, a forward for Philadelphia Hockey Club (PHC), has announced his commitment to Wilkes University for the fall of 2025.
An '04 from Boston, MA, Movalli has been a part of PHC for three seasons, showing consistent growth and skill development. Last season, he played 25 games with eight goals and eight assists in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). This season, he has continued to shine, recording seven goals and 10 assists in just 15 games to date.
"We could not be more happy for Connor," said PHC head coach and general manager Adam Bartholomay. "He has been a part of PHC for the past 3 seasons, and we are extremely excited for him to pursue his future at Wilkes University. He has a tremendous work ethic and loves the game of hockey. PHC and our staff are excited to see Connor at the next level."
Movalli expressed his gratitude, saying, "Firstly, I would like to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity and allowing me to continue playing the sport I love at the next level. I would like to thank my parents for their never-ending support throughout my career and the countless hours spent traveling for me. I also want to thank Coach Bartholomay for giving me a home for the past 3 years, and Coach Regala and Coach Desheveyy for their dedication to my success. Lastly, a special thanks to my brother for always pushing me to improve."
When he joins Wilkes University next season, Movalli will be teaming up with Ryan Dann from the New Hampshire Avalanche and Ryan Hacker from the New Jersey Bears. Wilkes University competes at the NCAA Division III level out of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC).
Tyler Hynes is the head coach of the Colonels, and he's excited to add Movalli to his incoming freshmen class.
"We are thrilled about Connor's decision to attend Wilkes," said Hynes. "He is a highly competitive young man with an elite shot. Connor has impressed us throughout our recruiting process and we are excited about his future in Colonel Country."
